Today, on Memorial Day, we remember and pay tribute to Jordan Byrd who gave his life in service of his country.
Jordan, the son of Regional Safety Manager Scott Pitt, was a private first class serving in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division as a combat medic and was killed while rendering lifesaving aid to a wounded fellow soldier. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and Silver Star for his gallantry under fire.
Scott says his son was known for having “a big smile no matter what and a thumbs-up attitude.” We salute Jordan and all others who have paid the ultimate price.
Over the years, Layton Construction has committed hundreds of thousands of dollars towards cancer research.
This year, we're asking you to join us, by donating to the 5 for the Fight Campaign, where every penny goes directly to fund cancer research.
Everyone can give five dollars, and we need everyone – because we’ve got to find a cure.
Layton is ranked 8th nationally in healthcare construction, and we are a leading contractor in multiple industries and regions.
