The Aggie Recreation Center (ARC) is a student-funded project built according to student wants and needs. Features include:

Layton successfully managed project specific challenges including utility tie-ins, a small project site, heavy student traffic on all four sides, an accelerated schedule, a stretched subcontractor market and harsh Logan winters.

The Aggie Recreation Center also earned the 2017 Outstanding Sports Facility award from the National Intramural and Sports Recreation Association. It’s the facility’s fourth award. It also received a Utah Construction & Design magazine Most Outstanding Project Award, a 2016 ENR Mountain States Merit Award and a Utah Masonry Council & AIA Utah Excellence in Masonry Design Award.

Provo Community Recreation Center features indoor competition and leisure pools, climbing walls around a deep pool, a new family changing room format, racquetball courts, suspended running track, gymnasiums, MAC and other traditional recreation center spaces.
